The CDG Browsium UniBrows JumpStart is the first step in ensuring a successful implementation of Browsium Software in your environment.
UniBrows is an innovative new product that enables millions of IE6-dependent line of business applications to run unmodified in IE8 or IE9. There’s no longer a need to rewrite applications of install expensive and complex virtualization solutions before upgrading your operating systems and browsers.
By simply installing UniBrows on your client PCs and customising the UniBrows configuration, you can continue to use all of your existing IE6-dependent web applications in IE8 or IE9 on Windows XP or Windows 7 without modifying a single line of code.
The CDG Browsium UniBrows JumpStart combines best-practice installation, custom configuration for two of your unique applications, and expert advice and training to ensure a smooth and easy deployment.
Deliverables
- Site and application assessment for up to two line – of-business web applications
- Installation of UniBrows software on one administration PC and up to 10 client PCs
- UniBrows project file for containing customer UniBrows Rules and Profiles for each of the two web applications
- Two hours of administrator training for ongoing management and deployment
- Optional: Integration with Terminal Services or other virtualization environments

Requirements
- Onsite access for up to three days for one Browsium support engineer or developer
- Access to PCs running Windows XP and/or Windows 7 with at least 1GB of RAM
- Client access to line-of-business web applications for testing and verification
- Access to customer technical staff who are knowledgeable on client PC configuration and line-of-business application use cases
